The main idea of this book is about a boy (that’s me!) who discovers what it takes to help his mommy take care of his new baby brother. Do you feel like you won’t know what to do when the baby finally comes home? Do you think you won’t be a good helper? Don’t worry! I’m here to be your friend and friends help one another. About the Author
Chae Blount is a very active 9 year old, fourth grader who also happens to be a published children’s book author, budding entrepreneur and a philantropist. Chae started writing books when he was just 7 years old. Since that time, Chae has written 3 children’s books (with his mommy as a contributor) under the series “Chae’s Guide Books – “How to be the BEST big brother or sister you can be!” and “How to be the BEST student you can be!”. Read to over 2,000, Chae is a paid national and international inspirational speaker!
In addition to publishing books Chae also assists in running his start-up
foundation ‘Chae’s Toy Chest”- a toy donation operation which supplies
toys and personal essentials for children residing in shelters and hospitals
which are located in low socio-economic areas.
When it’s all things fun and not business, Chae enjoys playing Minecraft
and Roblox, singing on the children’s choir at his church, going to his
cousin G’s house, watching movies with his mommy, Go-Kart racing in
Upstate New York with his dad and playing with his new baby brother Seth.
Chae’s favorite subjects are math and science and he wants to be a scientist
when he grows up. Chae is very generous and caring. He tries his best to be
a good son, brother and friend. Through his books he hopes to inspire
children all over the world to love and enjoy reading and to create stories of

- What began your writing journey and what motivated you to pen this children’s book?
2. Is there one black woman from history or present day that has inspired you?
Yes. My mommy because she takes care of me and my little brother Seth the best.
3. In your opinion, how can we teach our children to unify people of all colors and backgrounds ?
We can teach children all around the world to be united by showing tolerance for one another. It doesn’t matter if you look different, because we are all alike in some ways.
